The Romans Road is a few verses from the Book of Romans that explain salvation. Firstly, there is Romans 3:23. It says "For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God." That means we are all sinners. Non of us deserve salvation. We all have fallen. Romans 6:23a says "For the wages of sin is death..." Wow. So the reason we die is sin? True, but I think what this verse is referring to is the other death, spiritual. That is eternal seperation from God. Who would want that? Why do we have no other option? Trick question, we do. According to the other half (Romans 6:23b) "... But the Gift of God's Grace is eternal life through his son Jesus Christ." So Grace means a gift we don't deserve, right? So why do we get this gift, and how come it is able to be delivered? Romans 5:8 answers that"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." So because he loves us, we are able to saved. But how do we accept this gift? Well, I have always wondered where it speaks of salvation in the Bible. But is it. Romans 10:13 says "For whoever call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." And Romans 10:9 takes it a little farther with, "If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." So a goo little bit of verses tell us how to be saved. And that is the Romans Road.
